Clubs & Community Day
Community Day
We refer to Fridays as Community Day, a time for our students to experience learning as a natural byproduct of activities and experiences beyond their regular academic classes. Through participation, students develop a sense of community and pride in their school and learn valuable skills in leadership, planning, and cooperation.
Every Friday students will participate in two half-day clubs. A morning club is offered from 9:45-12:00 and an afternoon club from 12:30-3:00. Students are placed in clubs based upon their selections and availability.
Because these clubs are offered during the school day (as opposed to after school), more students are able to participate. Elective credit is received for club participation.
Clubs rotate every semester and are led by Teachers, Professionals, and Hobbyists.
