Solid Rock Tube

Our media production program, Solid Rock Tube, is a YouTube podcast that will air during the school year. Renowned movie producer John Corry (IMDb Profile) is collaborating with us on this exciting project. We have established the Solid Rock TV Studio right on our campus, where our morning show will be broadcast live to the entire school.

Enthusiastic students can join the Solid Rock Tube team as there are numerous roles available, including broadcasters, newscasters, sportscasters, techies, and more.

Requirements for Student Participants as Casters:

  • Confidence on camera
  • Clear articulation
  • Strong academic standing (students with poor grades will be disqualified)
  • Exemplary behavior (students with behavior issues will not be considered)
  • Availability for all practices, which may occur outside of regular school hours

Requirements for Student Participants as Techies:

  • Technical skills in video and audio equipment
  • Basic understanding of editing software
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to troubleshoot technical issues
  • Strong academic standing (students with poor grades will be disqualified)
  • Exemplary behavior (students with behavior issues will not be considered)
  • Availability for all practices and broadcasts

The school administration will assign roles to applicants based on their strengths and suitability. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain experience in television production and broadcasting.
