Learning Paths

At Solid Rock Community School, we recognize that every student learns differently. Our learning pathways are designed to provide flexibility while supporting each student’s academic, social, emotional, and future goals.

Whether a student thrives in a traditional classroom setting, benefits from a more individualized schedule, or participates as part of a homeschool program, our goal is to provide meaningful educational opportunities within a caring, supportive community.

Traditional Full-Time Enrollment
Traditional Enrollment is designed for students who attend Solid Rock on a regular, full-time campus schedule.

Traditional students:

  • Attend school on a regular full-time schedule.
  • Receive classroom instruction through Solid Rock.
  • Benefit from academic advising, graduation planning, transcript management, progress monitoring, and administrative support.
  • Have full access to student life, including clubs, productions, athletics, leadership opportunities, specialty programs, and school events.
  • Participate in the complete educational experience offered by Solid Rock Community School.

Flexible Full-Time Enrollment
The Flexible Schedule is an individualized option for students who remain fully enrolled at Solid Rock while following a customized educational pathway.

A Flexible Schedule may combine on-campus instruction with approved educational experiences such as:

  • College Dual Enrollment
  • Florida Virtual School (FLVS)
  • Approved online coursework
  • Career and Technical Education (CTE)
  • Internships or externships
  • Professional athletic, performing arts, or career opportunities
  • Other school-approved educational experiences

Students remain fully enrolled at Solid Rock and continue to receive:

  • Academic advising
  • Graduation planning
  • Transcript management
  • Progress monitoring
  • Coordination with outside educational providers
  • Administrative support
  • Full participation in student life, extracurricular activities, leadership opportunities, and school events

As a general school guideline, students participating in the Flexible Schedule are expected to complete the majority of their instructional program on campus unless otherwise approved through an individualized educational plan.

Flexible Schedules are approved on an individual basis after consideration of the student’s educational goals, graduation requirements, academic progress, attendance, applicable scholarship and legal requirements, and the student’s overall educational, social, and emotional development.

Homeschool
Solid Rock also serves homeschooling families who would like to supplement their home education program with classes, specialty programs, or other educational opportunities.

Depending on the program selected and availability, students may participate in:

  • Individual classes
  • Friday Workshops
  • Specialty programs
  • Approved educational opportunities

Homeschool families remain responsible for directing their student’s educational program, including curriculum decisions, recordkeeping, assessments, evaluations, scholarship compliance, and graduation planning unless otherwise agreed to in writing.

Participation, tuition, and available services vary depending on the selected program and any applicable scholarship requirements.

No matter which learning pathway a family chooses, our commitment remains the same: to provide students with a challenging education, meaningful relationships, and opportunities to grow academically, socially, emotionally, and as compassionate leaders who are prepared for college, careers, and life.
