Solid Rock Community School

A 501c3 non-profit, tax exempt, co-educational K-12 private school

We are located in Tarpon Springs, Florida, in Pinellas County, less than three miles from neighboring Pasco and Hillsborough counties.

SRCS emphasizes individualized, whole-child development. We are dedicated to providing a challenging educational program that meets our students’ academic, social, physical, and emotional needs.

Solid Rock Community School is making the world a greener place, starting in its own school community.  With a seed to table garden and lunch program, daily fitness classes, and a focus on environmental stewardship we are teaching our students to become healthy, involved citizens who can contribute to the greater good of society and be good stewards in the world in which they live.

Message from Founder

I believe that education transcends mere academic instruction. It’s about fostering strong character, instilling compassion, kindness, and respect, and empowering individuals to become enthusiastic, self-motivated, lifelong learners. At Solid Rock Community School, every child is valued, and every facet of our curriculum is designed to nurture each student’s full potential – creatively, morally, socially, and academically.

In addition to academic growth, Solid Rock is committed to humane education and environmental stewardship. We strive to cultivate empathy and responsibility towards all living beings, as well as the planet we call home. Through lessons in compassion and environmental awareness, we aim to equip our students with the knowledge and skills to become conscientious global citizens who actively contribute to the well-being of society and the preservation of our natural world.

By integrating health and fitness into our educational approach, we empower students to make informed choices about their health and develop lifelong habits that contribute to their overall well-being. We aim to nurture not only their academic growth but also their physical and emotional health, ensuring that they thrive in all aspects of life.

I’m deeply inspired by the opportunities that lie ahead for our students, both in the coming year and beyond. It’s within a supportive family and a nurturing, stimulating learning environment that a child can truly flourish academically and find their place in the world. Whether your family is new to Solid Rock Community School or has been part of our community for some time, we extend a warm welcome into our atmosphere of social diversity, inclusion, and acceptance.

The entire Solid Rock staff eagerly anticipates a school year brimming with memorable experiences, meaningful friendships, and, of course, abundant learning opportunities.
