Accreditation

Accreditation is not a requirement. It is a choice a school makes that serves two fundamental purposes: to ensure the quality of the institution or program, and to assist in the improvement of the institution or program. Association of Independent Schools of Florida (AISF) is recognized by the Florida Association of Academic Nonpublic Schools as an accrediting agency for private schools in Florida. AISF is a charter member of the National Council for Private School Accreditation.

Cognia (Formerly AdvancED and SACS) is the largest community of education professionals in the world. They are a non-profit, non-partisan organization that conducts rigorous, on-site external reviews of Pre-K-12 schools and school systems to ensure that all learners realize their full potential. Cognia was developed after the AdvancED 2006 merger of the PreK-12 divisions of the North Central Association Commission on Accreditation and School Improvement (NCA CASI) and the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools on Accreditation and School Improvement (SACS CASI)—and expanded through the addition of the Northwest Accreditation Commission (NWAC) in 2011.

National Council for Private School Accreditation (NCPSA) serves as a national review panel for the standards and procedures of private school accrediting associations in the United States. Status: Accredited since 2017
