Services

Solid Rock Community School offers a variety of additional services to our students. Some services are provided as part of the regular program and some carry an additional fee. Please contact the school for more details.

Academic Evaluations: Solid Rock Community School offers a battery of academic evaluations to all new students and annually updates them. Additionally, IQ testing is available.

Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA):  Solid Rock Community School employs a Board Certified Behavior Analyst and Registered Behavior Technician. The BCBA will observe a student’s behavior in a variety of environments to develop an accurate picture of his/her current learning strengths and needs, and then design experiments to determine the effects of these procedures on the child’s behaviors. The RBT is primarily responsible for the direct implementation of behavior-analytic services

Academic Advisory/Counseling: Solid Rock Community School employs a full-time Academic Advisor to counsel and advise the students  in scholastic and vocational matters. The Academic Advisor also oversees dual enrollment, PSAT, SAT, ACT, and CPT exams and helps with college enrollment.

Academic Tutoring:  Solid Rock Community School offers tutoring to students who need additional academic support beyond the classroom.

Behavior Management: Behavior management services will be offered to students experiencing difficulty with personal conduct while at school. This will be managed by the Principal, ABA, RBT, Behavioral Support Staff, or other professionals as necessary.

Counseling:  For some students, the school years are a period of rapid personal change and development, often accompanied by stress and uncertainty. Students experiencing personal issues at school or at home may be in need of one-on-one counseling. Solid Rock employs a school counselor to meet the emotional needs of our students.
